Who is Studio Amelia?

Studio Amelia was born in 2019 in Australia, from the desire to craft the perfect sandal. A testament to luxury and simplicity, we offer high-quality Footwear and Accessories at a price point that is both accessible and attainable. In the short years since its creation, our mission has centred on designing Footwear and Accessories that define an outfit.

Where are you located? 

Studio Amelia’s head office is located in Sydney Australia. We are proud to be stocked by some of the most prestigious retailers around the world. To view our stockists and try our styles in person, please visit our Stockists page here. Currently in Australia, Studio Amelia trades online and also partners with The New Trend and Mode Sportif, giving our local customers the opportunity to try selected styles in person.

What are Studio Amelia’s sustainability practices?

Our Footwear & Accessories collection is made from 100% Chrome-Free Leather. Estimates dictate that one pair of Chrome-Tanned Leather shoes consumes 2,257 gallons of water to produce. This water is then pumped back into local waterways, polluting our communities with the same amount of waste. Switching to Chrome-Free Leather dramatically reduces our environmental footprint, leading to less pollution, cleaner waste streams and improved biodegradability. 

What Not-For-Profit Organisations do you support?

Through our partnership with i=Change, Studio Amelia commits funds from every sales order to charity partners including Educate-A-Girl, to provide education for girls in the Calcutta slums, Feed Aussies in Crisis, to provide food relief for families in need, and Empower Survivors, to provide support for human trafficking and slavery survivors. What sizes do you have? 

Studio Amelia follows standard EU footwear sizes and runs from EU35 to EU41. To compare your local size to the correct EU size, please visit our size chart here. 

Are your sizes different for each foot shape and footwear style? 

Yes, depending on the shape of your foot and the specific style you choose, you may need to size up or down. For example, we recommend sizing down for our barely-there styles, particularly if you are in between sizes or have a narrower foot, as these designs are intended to be worn snug to ensure the straps remain secure. All styles will have their specific size guide on their product page description. If you have further size enquiries, please contact our Concierge team.

How can I create an account?

To create your Studio Amelia account, click the profile icon on the top right-hand side of the screen, next to your cart icon. Then click ‘Sign Up Here’. Alternatively, you can click here to create an account.

What are the benefits of a Studio Amelia account?

By creating a Studio Amelia account, you can view your entire order history, save your delivery address for a faster checkout experience and save your Wishlists. 

How can I update my account? 

To update your address, simply log into your account and select ‘View Addresses’. Here you can either add, edit or delete your address. To reset your password, please click the profile icon and select the ‘Forgot Your Password’ link to trigger the password reset email. To delete your account, please contact our Studio Amelia Concierge team by clicking here. To opt-out of communication preferences, please visit our latest marketing email, scroll to the footer of the email, and select ‘unsubscribe’. 

My discount code isn’t working. What can I do?

If you’re experiencing any issues with a discount code or promotional offer on our website, please reach out to our Studio Amelia Concierge team here for assistance. For gift card enquiries, kindly ensure your unique code is entered at the final checkout page and that you are using the email address associated with your previous orders.

What are your concierge hours? 

As our Concierge team are based in Sydney, Australia, our hours operate from 9:00am to 5:30pm AEDT. Please allow 1-2 working days for the Concierge team to respond to your query. 

What is your privacy policy?

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, Studio Amelia’s Digital Gift Cards make the perfect gift for any premium fashion wearer. They can be purchased from $100 to $1,000 AUD and will be sent directly to your recipients email inbox. They have no expiration date and can be used for multiple purchases. To purchase a Studio Amelia Digital Gift Card, please click here. 

How do I redeem my gift card? 

To redeem, add your chosen item to cart and proceed through checkout. On the final checkout page, enter your contact details using the email address to which the gift card was originally sent. Then, enter your unique code in the discount field to redeem. Your cart balance will update automatically.

How can I check the balance of my gift card? 

To check the balance of your Studio Amelia Digital Gift Card, simply open your original gift card invitation email and click ‘View gift card balance’. You will then be taken to a website page with your unique gift card code and your gift card balance. 

If a product is out of stock, how will I know when it’s available again?

If your desired product is currently out of stock, you can easily sign up for a restock notification. Simply visit the product page, select your size (if applicable), and click ‘Alert Me When Available.’ Enter your email and you’ll receive an update as soon as the product is back in stock. Please note, while you will be notified, this does not guarantee that the product will be reserved for you. As demand can be high, we recommend acting quickly to secure your item once it becomes available.

Can I place a preorder? 

Studio Amelia offers exclusive pre-order access to new collection launches and restocked signature styles. When a product is available for pre-order, this will be clearly noted as ‘PREORDER’ in the product page. Simply complete your purchase online and your pre-order will be securely recorded in our system. You will receive an order confirmation email, followed by a shipping notification once your order is ready to be dispatched. Can I modify my order after I place it? 

Yes, if your order has not been shipped, we can amend the delivery address for you. Please contact your Studio Amelia Concierge team immediately here. If your order has already been shipped, please contact our shipping partner directly to redirect the parcel. You can find our shipping partner and shipment details within your shipping notification email. 

Can I collect my order in-store or in-person? 

Currently, there is no physical Studio Amelia store for customers to collect their order. However, if you are based in Sydney, Australia and need your order immediately, you are welcome to collect your order from our Studio Amelia Warehouse. Please contact the Studio Amelia Concierge team to organise this collection.

Do you have a gift-wrapping service? 

All our orders are wrapped with Studio Amelia branded gift boxes and are packaged securely to avoid damage in transit. If your order is a gift and you would like an additional hand-written gift message, please contact our Studio Amelia Concierge team with your order number and gift message, and we can organise this for you.  

What payment options do you offer?

Studio Amelia offers a wide variety of payment options to suit our clients worldwide. We accept debit and credit cards (Amex, Mastercard, Visa, Union Pay), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and flexible payment options with AfterPay and Pay Pal. 

Where can I retrieve my tax invoice? 

Your order confirmation email acts as your tax invoice. However, if you require a separate tax invoice, please contact our Studio Amelia Concierge team. 

How can I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping notification email containing your tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking details to update. By clicking the tracking link, you will be directed to our shipping partner’s website, where you can view delivery updates and your estimated delivery date.

If you experience any delivery issues, please contact our Studio Amelia Concierge team. For the quickest resolution, we also recommend reaching out directly to the shipping partner.

What countries do you deliver to?

Studio Amelia is proud to deliver world-wide, excluding Russia, India and Israel. 

How long will my delivery take?

All orders placed before 3pm AEDT will be dispatched on the same business day. All orders placed after this time will be dispatched the following business day. Orders within Australia will take 1-3 business days to ship. International orders will take 3-6 business days, depending on your location. 

Do you offer Free Global Express Shipping?

Yes, Studio Amelia offers complimentary Global Express Shipping on every order. We are committed to delivering your purchase promptly, so you can enjoy your Studio Amelia styles without delay.

Will my order be subject to import fees?

Our online prices do not include import duties or taxes. International orders may be subject to additional fees upon delivery. To estimate any applicable charges, please click here. For exchange orders, Studio Amelia is pleased to cover all import fees.

Can I change my shipping address after placing an order? 

Yes, if your order has not been shipped, we can amend the delivery address for you. Please contact your Studio Amelia Concierge team immediately here. If your order has already been shipped, please contact our shipping partner directly to redirect the parcel. You can find our shipping partner and shipment details within your shipping notification email. 

What happens if I’m not available to receive my parcel? 

If you are not at the premises to receive your parcel, your parcel will be left at a safe location at your premises. If the delivery driver is unable to find a safe location, a collection card will be left in your mailbox, instructing you to collect your order at their closest collection depot. If you have any trouble retrieving your parcel, please contact the shipping partner directly. 

Which shipping partner do you use?

For orders within Australia, Studio Amelia uses Australia Post Express Shipping. For International orders, we use UPS Express.

“What does “Chrome-Free Leather” mean, and what are the sustainability benefits?

Chrome-Free Leather is a premium alternative to traditional leather, tanned without the use of chromium salts. Instead, it relies on natural or carefully selected synthetic agents—such as plant-based tannins—to create beautifully soft, durable leather without the environmental risks associated with conventional tanning methods.

Estimates suggest that producing one pair of chrome-tanned leather shoes can consume up to 2,257 gallons of water. This water is often discharged back into local waterways, contributing to environmental pollution.

Choosing Chrome-Free Leather reflects our considered commitment to sustainability. This process significantly reduces the risk of harmful toxins entering waterways and minimises the overall chemical impact on the environment. At the same time, it delivers an uncompromisingly luxurious result in our Nappa Leather—allowing our customers to add a sophisticated yet eco-conscious touch to their wardrobe.

Studio Amelia is proud to share that 90% of our Footwear & Accessories collection is crafted from 100% Chrome-Free Nappa Leather.

How can I take care of chrome-free leather?

Chrome-Free Nappa Leather is prized for its exceptional softness and, as such, requires thoughtful care to maintain its luxurious finish and comfort.

To protect your item and prevent premature ageing or staining, we recommend applying a gentle, high-quality leather protector that is free from harmful oils, as these can cause discolouration or damage. For best results, apply the protector prior to your first wear/use.

To preserve the leather over time, we suggest using a natural leather balm every few months. Always store your item in the complimentary Studio Amelia dust bag, away from direct sunlight and heat. Placing soft tissue paper or shoe supports inside your footwear or accessories will help maintain their elegant shape.

What are Studio Amelia’s quality control procedures?

At Studio Amelia, we are involved in every stage of creation—from the initial design of each style through to final production. We carefully oversee every step to ensure the highest standards of quality are upheld.

Before any style enters production, we receive multiple rounds of production samples from our manufacturing partners. Each sample undergoes rigorous testing and review to ensure it meets our exacting standards for craftsmanship, fit, and finish. Only once a sample passes all quality benchmarks does it proceed to full production.

Prior to dispatch, every order undergoes a detailed quality control checklist at the Studio Amelia warehouse. Each individual side of every pair is carefully inspected before packing. If an item does not meet our standards at this final stage, it is immediately removed from inventory—ensuring that only flawless pieces reach our customers.

What is your return policy?

For full-priced items, we offer refunds, exchanges, and credit notes within 21 days of receipt. Items must be unworn and returned in their original condition. To check if your order meets our requirements, please visit our returns checklist here. 

Sale items are eligible for an exchange or credit note but are not eligible for a refund. Items marked as Final Sale cannot be returned, so we kindly encourage you to choose carefully or contact us for assistance with sizing prior to purchase.

If you wish to return an order for a refund, a return shipping fee of $10 AUD for Australian orders and $45 USD for international orders will apply. This fee will be deducted from your original order once the item has been received at our warehouse and assessed for condition.

For exchanges or credit notes, we are pleased to waive the return shipping fee and offer complimentary return shipping.

How do I start a return? 

To start your return, please check the returns requirement checklist to ensure your order is eligible for a return. If yes, please complete our Returns Form here, or contact the Studio Amelia Concierge team here. Our Concierge team will be in contact with you to organise the return. When will I receive the refund for my order? 

If your return was accepted, the Studio Amelia Concierge team will email you to confirm that your refund was processed. Depending on your card issuer, it can take up to 10 business days for the funds to reflect in your account.
